Artwork & Design Queries

How should I supply my artwork?

We work from JPEG, AI, PNG, PDF, SVG and EPS files…provided they are in a high enough resolution.

If you are not sure if your file will be suitable, please send it to us via email and our Customer Service team will be in touch to confirm.

How many colours can I print?

We print digitally and flexographically
depending on the product and quantity.
Digital Printing:
- Colours are made from CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black).
- Same price regardless of the number of colours - the sky's the limit!
- Best suited to photographic images, complex designs and artwork containing multiple colours (can print single colours too).
- Cannot print white or metallics.
- Pantone colours will be converted to CMYK and will be similar but not an exact match.
- More economical on small quantities.
- Artwork is printed to file with no intervention meaning colours can vary between printers and materials.

Flexographic Printing:
- Pantone spot colour printing.
- Maximum of 4 colours.
- Require a Pantone code for each colour (or we can assist with a colour conversion).
- Recommended when colour accuracy is important.
- Can print white and metallic colours.
- More economical on large quantities.

Will the artwork proof be colour accurate?

No. A digital proof is not colour accurate and what you see on screen will look different to the finished product.

What are the artwork charges?

We do not charge artwork or set-up fees and our pricing allows for up to two rounds of edits to the artwork proof. Charges apply for 3 or more edits however this is rarely necessary.

Will the colours look different on Brown Kraft?

Yes. Colours printed on brown kraft typically appear darker than they otherwise would. Don’t worry though… we will do our best to match to your chosen colour/s and will flag with you any potential issues prior to production.

Custom Printed Bags

Can I order a custom size?

We are able to offer super-fast turnaround times and small volumes by sticking to a standard range of sizes.

If you can’t find a size that’s suitable, we suggest reaching out to our sister company PaperPak to discuss a custom size. Their minimum order quantities start from 3,000 bags and have a 6-12 week lead time.

Can you print all over the bag?

We’ve created a Bag Print Guide which explains the printable area on each size. As we take an existing bag and over-print on it, we are limited to printing in the centre of the bag on the front and back only.

Are your carry bags recyclable?

All of our bags are made from paper which is 100% recyclable and compostable…even the handles!

Please remove the handle reinforcements on the Delivery Bag prior to recycling and composting.

How strong are the bags?

All of our bags are made from strong and durable paper that has been thoroughly tested to safely carry a variety of products and weights, giving you peace of mind.

What Print Quality should I expect?

We are able to offer small volumes and super-fast turnaround times on bags by using inkjet printing. This is similar to your standard photocopier or home printer. Minor print imperfections can occur as part of the printing process and are deemed acceptable.

Contact us if you'd like a sample that illustrates our print capability.
